My dog is new to the practice. I was in awe over how well everything was handled. From the initial phone call to being able to get checked out in the room at the end of the appointment…….all staff were knowledgeable, professional, and caring. Dr. Rivas spent a good 20 minutes just talking with me and getting to know my dog and making sure he was comfortable. He was shaking and whimpering when we arrived and was wagging his tail and all perky when we left! I was informed of various vaccinations that could be given and options for purchasing maintenance meds like flea and heart worm. It was presented to me verbally and in written form. I made my decision and there was no push or “sale” after my decision. The office and entire staff is Fear Free Certified and has regular training to keep the certification. There is info on the website blog what the certification is. For me that really seemed to make a difference with my dog being comfortable and well cared for. -Kay H.
Kimball is awesome! I had a cat for 15 years and near the end of her life (when I moved to the area) I took her there. They are always very thorough and treated her with the best of care. When I had to put her down they helped me through everything, answered all my questions (despite my gallons of tears lol) the best they could and were very caring and professional. I couldn’t have asked for better. Now I take my new kitty there and everything has gone well so far! I will soon be bringing in a dog.

Dr. Rivas is amazing, thorough, and makes sure to address any and all concerns you may have. I bring my dog here for occasional concerning health issues such as ear infections […] You will not find a better exam anywhere else because you do get what you pay for and for the exams, vet is worth every penny. *Friendly, knowledgeable vet (Dr. Rivas) and staff *Provide estimates before going through work *Will recommend but not pressure other tests/maintenance. We just moved to town. So it’s a big deal to switch from Patterson. I was a bit nervous because the reviews were so dated. I was able to have an appointment for both the kitty and doggo back to back. It was definitely a time saver. I had to personally reschedule once and then was about ten minutes late to my appointment. Not a single problem with these two things. The building is expanding and the computer system is upgrading. The ladies at the counter seemed quite happy and the tech was full of information. We talked about different treatment plans, which was great because some of the stuff in one plan was already all inclusive in another. The dog has white coat syndrome, and each individual took time just to love on her and be happy with her. It was a bit relieving. Cost wise […] balanced out to what I state as a fair price. We prepaid for the latter half of our shots so that when the time comes we can just show up. We do plan on returning.

I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Rivas and his staff! Dr. Rivas was so comforting when it came time to lay our yellow lab, Maxie, to rest. They gave all the time we needed with our girl. Never once tried to rush us… even made a Christmas ornament out of her paw print! Thank you all so much for your compassion!
